The Nautical Institute (NI), in consultation with the DP Training and Executive Group (DPTEG), has agreed to merge the Revalidation and Refresher courses. Going forward, only one course will be required for the purpose of DP revalidation.
The contents of the former DP Revalidation Course and the DP Refresher and Competency Assessment Course were substantially similar.
Following review, The Nautical Institute has decided to merge these two into a single course (NI Circular 002/2026)
The unified course is called the DP Revalidation Course (see Revalidation Course Section).

The courses are weekly organized except the second, third week of August and the Christmas holiday season. In addition, courses are organized on request through private or corporate bookings.
