This course provide the basic skills required by the STCW reg. V/1-1, reg V/1-2 and Sec. A-V/1-1 and A-V/1-2 to all seafarers on board gas tankers . The course provides seafarers with the expertise and knowledge of liquefied gas tankers, cargo tankers and product loading systems, their characteristics and specifications, required by the STCW.

The course provides to the marine ones the competences for the cargo operations of the gas ships demanded from the STCW Table A-V/1-2-2, the knowledge and characteristics of the products transported necessary to carry out in total safety any task or work on board tankers engaged in the transport of liquefied gas.

The course provides the seafarer’s competences for the cargo operations of the oil tankers demanded from the STCW Table A-V/1-1-2, and the knowledge of the composition and dangerousness of the goods transported so as to carry out their work onboard in safety.
