The course has a duration of 40 hours, during which the officers will be trained to the use of the system of simulation Transas Navi Trainer 5000 or SAM PLATINUM. Each officer, in fact, will have a Navi-Sailor 4000 ECDIS, a conning Console and a Radar ARPA Module. During the training they will acquire the basic knowledge of an Electronic chart Display and Information System in terms of cartography, sensory, regulation, route planning, route monitoring and chart management.
